Farah believes that the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important aspects of therapy and strives to create an open and safe space for clients to express their thoughts and feelings and work collaboratively towards reaching their set goals.

In her practice, she uses a client-centered integrated approach where she draws from different therapeutic modalities depending on each client’s needs. She has previously worked with clients from various backgrounds struggling with grief, anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, obsessions and compulsions, body image problems, and stressful life events.

Farah has worked with personality disorders, obsessive disorders, mood disorders, and delusional disorders. She further expanded her training at Al Mashfa Psychiatric Resort where she shadowed a team working with substance misuse and was able to shadow the administration and scoring of multiple psychological assessments.

During her studies, she was trained in various aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Schema Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in a practice setting where she used a well rounded approach to understanding and dealing with each case’s presenting symptoms and work towards understanding and altering them based on the client.
