Moni El Ramlawy is an individual and couples therapist. Moni works with individuals on matters pertaining depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship issues, and managing life’s stressors.
Moni works with an approach called Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) where she focuses on emotions and emotional communication in relationships and their influence on patterns of interaction.
She has been working with families for 11 years to support them in managing family discord and marital conflict. She also provides parent consultations that focus on a positive discipline approach for parents to better support their children to grow in becoming healthier individuals
Previously, Moni worked as a School Counselor with adolescents and families on issues concerning their social/emotional well-being such as, anxiety, depression, self-harm, grief, marital/family conflict, divorce, etc.

- Masters degree in Family and Child Counseling from The American University in Cairo
- Clinical training in Couples Therapy from the Gottman Institute
- EFT training
