Manal has completed the advanced level of Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT) diploma for couples. A type of therapy that is used to improve attachment and bonding in adult relationships. She expanded her training within the Emotional Focused therapy to include individuals and families.

Manal is passionate about people’s well-being, and believes in the need to empower clients by highlighting their strength and resilience and not just their difficulties.

Manal has been counseling individuals and couples as well as families. She works with those who struggle with a variety of mental health issues especially adjustment to stress and traumatic events, attachment conflicts, anxiety, depression and addictive behaviors. She embraces a humanistic approach with positive, emotional focused techniques, and believes in people’s capacity for change.

Manal has 15 years of work experience in the civil society fields in Egypt. Her contribution as part of the Development Support Center for Consultancy and Training (DSC) and the Association for Health and Environment (AHED) in collaboration with UNICEF helped build the capacities and the establishment of new initiatives that have acted as real agents of change, most pertinent, serving children with special needs through the community based rehabilitation (CBR) model.
