Mirna works with children, adolescents, and adults on a wide range of mental health disorders and psychological conditions, including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), schizophrenia, personality disorders, addiction, eating disorders, anger management, self-esteem, and body image issues. As per her years of experience working as a clinical psychologist at Al Mashfa Hospital and in several private clinics, she was able to develop extensive skills in different areas. Mirna uses evidence-based techniques, person-centered, strengths-based modalities, and action-oriented approaches in her therapeutic work. Depending on her client’s goals and needs, Mirna provides personalized treatment using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), recovery-oriented cognitive therapy (CT-R), solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), and motivational interviewing (MI). Mirna is confident in conducting both online and face-to-face psychotherapy sessions in Arabic, English, and French.
