Zeina Ibrahim Counseling & Health Psychologist, MA

Zeina has experience working with young adults, adults and elders on a wide range of difficulties. Such as anxiety, post-traumatic stress, depression, grief, adjustment issues, self esteem, eating disorders and body image. She also works with clients on the influence of physical illnesses on their mental health and how to cope with them.

Zeina works with her clients by guiding them towards their own goals and eventually maintaining them. All in a non-judgmental, collaborative environment.

She uses a holistic, humanistic approach, completely believing in the human’s potential and his abilities to evolve when he becomes aware of his different and unlimited resources.

 

Degrees:

  • Baccalaureate specialized in Economics and Social Sciences then her bachelor’s in Psychology from Aix-Marseille University
  • Master’s in Social Psychology of Health from Aix-Marseille University

Other information: 

Zeina worked in different settings targeting various populations.

Firstly in a rehabilitation hospital, dealing with substance abuse. Then in associations, providing psychological support to refugees and precarious populations.  Afterwards, with patients getting through terminal stages of illnesses and their families and finally in private clinics.

In addition, she continues to develop her knowledge and techniques, currently receiving training on Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder.
